Service Pack Licence Update

We have updated the license manager and license client for all MIKE products 2017 version in the previous Service Pack 1 to improve performance and resolve several issues.
As part of the update, license system resolves conflict with Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ) Server. This has an impact on the DHI license manager 2017 and MIKE 2017 products, where products updated with Service Pack 1 are compatible only with license manager updated with Service Pack 1.

DHI License Manager 2017 Service Pack 1, however, is backward compatible with the MIKE 2017 products without Service Pack 1.

DHI License Manager 2017 Service Pack 1 is also compatible with Service Pack 2.

To avoid interruption in accessing any of the MIKE software products when you update MIKE product version 2017 to Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2, please follow our recommendations:

Personal License Users

  • If you are using a personal license, please update both the DHI License Manager version 2017 and the MIKE product version 2017 which you are using to Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2.

Network License Users

  • If you are using a network license, please make sure that the network license server which you are connecting to, is updated with the DHI License Manager version 2017 Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 before you update the MIKE product version 2017 which you are using to Service Pack 2.
  • Please note that installation of the DHI License Manager for network license require administration privileges and thus may require support from your internal IT administrators.

Internet License Users

  • If you are using an internet license, you can safely update the MIKE product version 2017 which you are using to Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2.
